transition topics … is your house in transition?

Have some artistic talent and a bit of time on your hands? Perhaps you’re the one we’re looking for to help ‘flesh out’ Transition MV’s draft poster designating your household as being ‘in transition.’

Our first Transition New Year was a great success, with over 20 participants coming together to participate in our second Delicious Dialogue! Topics ranged from a call out for new homes for bee-hives, information on Mill Valley’s Open Garden Project, reports on the work being done by Sustainable Mill Valley, just how green are the new eco-friendly light bulbs, the role of oxytocin in community building.

Who attended? A sampling …. Two yoga instructors, a handful of permaculturists, a life coach, a high school teacher and performance poet, an artist, a designer, a journalist, and an economist ….

Next on our agenda: Stay tuned for information on next month’s potluck and for the small group gatherings we are organizing.

If you are interested in taking a more active role in Mill Valley’s Transition team, you are welcome to participate in our bi-monthly initiating group, Wednesday evenings at 7pm. For more information, please email deborahphelan@gmail.com.
